The past few weeks have been filled with little stories—some that made me smile, some that made me grateful, and some that made me pause. From a swan and a buffalo in the fields outside our home to Bhagavad Gita shlokas, our dream home, and Lord Jagannath, each moment left something beautiful behind. Amidst everything, I felt God gently reminding me to slow down and notice the blessings in everyday life.
A Beautiful Lesson from Nature

One evening, I was looking out at the farmers' fields surrounding our home. Buffaloes were peacefully grazing, enjoying the lush greenery, when something caught my attention.
A swan was following one particular buffalo everywhere it went. As the buffalo moved from one patch of grass to another, the swan happily walked beside it. Every now and then, the buffalo would gently look back, almost as if checking on its little companion.
I saw this beautiful pair on several evenings, and every time it filled my heart with joy.
Watching them, I felt nature quietly reminding me that companionship doesn't need words. Sometimes, simply being there for one another is enough.
Preparing Bhagavad Gita Shlokas with Anjali

Soon after, another beautiful routine became part of our evenings.
Anjali's school announced a Bhagavad Gita Shloka Reciting Competition, and I immediately registered her. We decided to prepare together.
Every evening, I first practice reciting one shloka with the correct tune and pronunciation. Once I am confident, I teach it to Anjali, and we continue practicing until she can recite it clearly and confidently without mistakes.
Our goal is to learn around ten to fourteen shlokas before the competition.
These few minutes have become one of my favorite parts of the day. More than preparing for a competition, they have brought devotion, discipline, and peaceful mother-daughter moments into our home.
We will give our best.
The result, as always, will be left to God.
Family Support During Our Dream Home Journey

Our dream home's interior work is finally reaching its last stage.
At the same time, my husband has been extremely busy with office audits and important aircraft-related work, while I continue balancing office work, household responsibilities, and Anjali.
Without us even asking, my father quietly stepped in.
Every day, he visits our new home, supervises the pending work, coordinates with the workers, and keeps us updated. His experience and practical knowledge have given us immense peace of mind.
Sometimes, love isn't expressed through words.
Sometimes, it simply shows up every single day.
Mixed Emotions Before Moving

As our moving day comes closer, my emotions keep changing.
One moment, I feel excited about finally entering our dream home. The next, I find myself thinking about unpacking, organizing, cleaning, and wondering whether unexpected challenges might arise.
I suppose every new beginning brings a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Instead of worrying too much, I choose to leave everything in God's hands and pray that we step into our new home with positivity, gratitude, and His blessings.
Drawing Lord Jagannath: A Journey of Faith

It had been quite some time since I last sat down to draw.
Wanting a change, I asked Anjali to choose my next reference picture. Without hesitation, she chose Lord Jagannath Ji, and it happened to be during the Rath Yatra season.
I was happy, but also hesitant. Deep inside, I felt that drawing the Lord wasn't just about artistic skill—it also needed His permission and blessings.
For two days, I couldn't begin.
Then one morning, I felt a strong urge to start. Whenever I struggled with a line or doubted myself, I softly chanted, "Jai Jagannath."
Slowly, the drawing came together.
When I looked at the finished artwork, I felt only gratitude. I truly believe that if the drawing turned out beautifully, it was because Lord Jagannath guided my hands.
Finding Joy in Everyday Life
When I look back at these past few weeks, I don't remember them because of big milestones.
I remember a swan and a buffalo sharing an unexpected friendship.
I remember learning Bhagavad Gita shlokas with my daughter.
I remember my father's quiet support during our new home journey.
I remember the excitement and uncertainty of moving into our dream home.
And I remember drawing Lord Jagannath with faith in my heart.
These moments reminded me that life's greatest blessings are often the simplest ones.
As we prepare to begin a new chapter in our new home, my prayer is simple.
May we always notice the little blessings around us, give our best in everything we do, and have the faith to leave the results to God.
